Description:
ICE88 validates that the directory referenced in the DirProperty column of the IniFile table exists in the Windows Installer package. ICE88 issues a warning if the DirProperty value does not represent a property in the Directory, AppSearch, or Property tables, certain system folder properties, or a property set by a type 51 custom action.

ICE88 scans the following tables and properties.

• Directory Table
• AppSearch Table
• Property Table
• CustomAction Table, where the custom action is a Custom Action Type 51
• ProgramFilesFolder Property
• CommonFilesFolder Property
• SystemFolder Property
• ProgramFiles64Folder Property
• CommonFiles64Folder Property
• System64Folder Property.

1. This ICE checkes if the 'DirProperty' value for each rule in the IniFile table exists within the above tables and properties, or that they may be set by a Custom Action type 51.

Examples of possible errors:
1. In the IniFile table entry (IniFile=) MODE the DirProperty=TestDirectory is not found in Directory/Property/AppSearch/CA-Type51 tables and it is not one of the installer properties.

This error/warning must be solved:
Verify the directory in the ini entry, and correct it. Possibly add the necessary directory to your package.
