Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx04-00000A09
Additional information:
This issue occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You start the application from a shortcut that references an application that does not exist in the SoftGrid Client cache.
Frequently, this issue occurs when a custom shortcut remains after a user creates the shortcut to an application and then later removes that application from the SoftGrid Client cache.
- You start or load the application by using command-line options. However, the application name and version that you specify do not match the name and version of an application in the SoftGrid Client cache.
When an application is added to the SoftGrid Client cache, the application name and version are specified by the SOFTPKG NAME and VERSION elements in the .osd file. The application name and version are case sensitive. If the application name and version that are specified by using the command-line options do not match an application name and version in the SoftGrid Client cache, the application does not start. Additionally, you receive the error message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section.
For example, if the application name is "Default SoftGrid Application" and the version is "1.0," the command-line option must be one of the following options:
PATHsfttray.exe /launch "Default SoftGrid Application"
PATHsfttray.exe /load "Default SoftGrid Application 1.0"
If the command-line option case does not match the case of the application name and version, the application does not start. Additionally, you receive the error message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section.
The following examples illustrate command-line options whose case does not match the case of the application name and version:
PATHsfttray.exe /launch "default softgrid application"
PATHsfttray.exe /load "DEFAULT SOFTGRID APPLICATION 1.0"
