Description:
When you try to open an application in Microsoft SoftGrid, the operation is unsuccessful. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

The SoftGrid Client could not launch the application you requested.
The command line included a file with an extension that the SoftGrid Client does not recognize. The application cannot be launched. Please check the command you specified and try again.
Error code: xxxxxx-xxxxxx01-00031008

Additional information:
This issue may occur if the following conditions are true:

The application name or version ends with a period (.) character.

The application name or version does not exist in the cache.

For example, this issue may occur in the following scenarios:

The application name and version in the cache is SoftGrid Example Application 7.0. The application is opened from the command line by using the following command: sfttray.exe "SoftGrid Example Application 7." However, the following command should be used instead: sfttray.exe "SoftGrid Example Application 7.0"

The application name and version in the cache is SoftGrid Example Application 7.0. The application is opened from a shortcut in which the target contains the following text: "C:Program FilesSoftricitySoftGrid for Windows Desktopssfttray.exe" "SoftGrid Example Application 7."However, the following text should be used instead: "C:Program FilesSoftricitySoftGrid for Windows Desktopssfttray.exe" "SoftGrid Example Application 7.0"

If the application name or version ends with a period and exists in the cache, this issue does not occur.
