Q: Whenever I try to use a tool like "Take snapshot" or "Edit a WSI" it errors with a description about the command line in the sparkleflow.ini.
A: This has been a problem with SparkleFlow for Wise (Demo) version 3.0.09.0318. In this version there have been difficulties concerning the Wise integration with several versions of Wise Package Studio, amongst which Wise Package Studio 7 Service Pack 3. Because of this bug a new SparkleFlow for Wise (Demo) version 3.0.09.0320 is available.
Q: My SparkleFlow version looks like it's graphically scrambled.
A: Probably you have set your Windows DPI settings to another value than 96 dpi. The Windows DPI settings should be at 96 dpi. Other values will result in a graphically scrambled SparkleFlow.
Q: I can't read the SparkleFlow.ini file.
A: This is by design. The SparkleFlow.ini file can be read and edited when you purchase the Developer kit.
Q: I get a blank login screen. What username and password should I enter?
A: For the SparkleFlow Demo versions you enter the username Demo and leave the password field blank.
Q: I can't save my files
A: The SparkleFlow Demo version installs under C:Program Files. Some operating systems like Vista can have restrictions under this directory. Within a company network your computer might be secured. It is possible to copy the complete SparkleFlow directory with its subdirectories to a path where you have Write permissions. Start the SparkleFlow Configurator to change the Package Path or PackageShare directory to your new location. For more information check your SparkleFlow Configuration Manual.
Q: SparkleFlow for AdminStudio: After pressing the button "Create a snapshot" you recieve the error message: This application has failed to start because AdminUIFramework.dll can not be found.
This is default behaviour after an initial installation of AdminStudio. The AdminUIFramework.dll can not be found in the path. The path is changed by the AdminStudio installation. It becomes effective after a reboot.
