SparkleFlow is the acclaimed packaging solution that combines all aspects of a software packaging project into a single interface. Preparing an application migration? Need to reduce your TCO? Need to manage lots of applications? Want to setup your applications right now and not waste to much of your value time? SparkleFlow Package Management offers the complete solution for creating structure in your packaging project.
The Webmodule gives you offsite information about all SparkleFlow data.
Even though presented with a set of template files, these template files are customisable. This will require knowledge of PHP programming and HTML editing, as well as some insight in the architecture of SparkleFlow.
The same structure of user rights used in SparkleFlow can be applied here, creating subsets of packages per login. This way e.g. a sales rep or helpdesk engineer will only get the information of packages that are relevant to him or her.
All this sounds quite simple, and when you use the Webmodule as is, it obviously IS that simple. Nevertheless, this little engine starts to really become interesting once you pop the hood. Apart from using the webmodule as is, we also provide you with the possibility to completely modify the template files shipped with the Webmodule. A strong set of variables will allow you to access virtually all information in SparkleFlow. How you want this data processed and shown, is totally up to your own imagination.

The Webmodule requires PHP combined with an Internet service like IIS or Apache. Of course, this is only for the "server" side where the Webmodule will be installed and running. As a user, all you need to start looking at SparkleFlow data especially collected and arranged for you, is an internet/intranet connection and a webbrowser. Type the URL to login into your webbrowser and you're ready to go!
The Webmodule is developed and tested with Internet Explorer and Firefox. It will most likely work on any browser supporting PHP and HTML.
By using multiple sets of template and ini files, writing their data to various server locations, your webmodule administrator can create a range of subsets of data, ready to be used by various departments and/or functions. Restrict your application information to e.g. application data like manufacturer, licences and contact information for the helpdesk, hours for the administration, action statuses of your application packaging and/or software virtualisation project with explanatory notes for your customer, anything you desire! You can create an open, tailor-made information system based on all your SparkleFlow data.
You will have to admit these options make this tool a lot more powerful than you might presume at first sight.
